Following in the footsteps of Avril Lavigne and Ruby Rose before her, Alexis Bledel has been named the most dangerous celebrity on the internet for 2019.

Cybersecurity company McAfee awards the unusual title each year to the celebrity whose name in links is most likely to lead users to websites containing viruses and malware.

This year's choice is particularly hilarious given Bledel's penchant for clean-cut roles in series and films like Gilmore Girls and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, though she has gone much darker in recent years on The Handmaid's Tale.

The rest of the list of most dangerous celebrities was, in order: James Corden, Sophie Turner, Anna Kendrick, Lupita Nyong'o, Jimmy Fallon, Jackie Chan, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Tessa Thompson.

Many of the names are associated with heavily pirated material, such as subscription only TV shows like The Handmaid's Tale and Game of Thrones and popular film franchises like Star Wars and Avengers.
