Vancouver garage-pop quartet Alex Little & the Suspicious Minds have at long last released their debut album, Waiting to Get Paid. Today, you can stream the album in full right here at Exclaim! courtesy of Light Organ Records.

Formed by frontwoman Little, Twin River's Andy Bishop, the Zolas' Cody Hiles and Dead Quiet's Mike Rosen, the band have compiled a stunning, raucous debut in Waiting to Get Paid, an album all about "struggling through reality and anxiety."

Little explained further: "This record is musically unique, emotionally honest, and relentlessly fierce while bearing all of its vulnerability at the same time. We poured all of ourselves into this — truly."

In addition to the release, Alex Little & the Suspicious Minds recently shared a new video for the record's title track, which further explores themes of mental health and heartbreak. The video features art directed by Mat Dunlap and animation by Aaron Eisenberg.

"He really did a great job at capturing the essence of the song," Little said of Dunlap's contribution. "When you can't stop drinking and spending all your money, you're always waiting to get paid."

Watch that video below, where you can also stream Waiting to Get Paid in full.
