Alessia Cara recently returned with "Growing Pains" from her forthcoming sophomore album, and as she celebrates growing up and turning 22 today (July 11), the Brampton-born pop star has unveiled another new track.
"A Little More" hears Cara going acoustic for the self-recorded, self-produced track. As she revealed on Twitter, she made the track at home in her basement.
That DIY attitude gets celebrated in the accompanying video, which features a string of home videos.
The new track has even garnered some praise from a fellow Canadian pop star.

I made a song in my basement and thought I'd release it tomorrow as a small gift for my birthday. "a little more"— written & produced by me. 12AM EST. pic.twitter.com/aY6SqEBxNe
