At Home With Aidan Smith 2, the second mini-album (in as many months) by Twisted Nerve tenderfoot Aidan Smith, is modest pop done entirely on a shoestring budget. Known for his Ryan Adams-sized collection of songs, Smith is a remarkable visionary, always inventing astonishing noises on cheap, little keyboards and acoustic guitars, while using items like baked beans as his subject matter. Song titles such as "First Eskimo In Liverpool” and "The Nitwit Jive,” show his mind is loaded with ideas that can even downplay the fact that he plays one hell of a kazoo on the closing track. He is sure to be the next big thing in the TN camp.
