Adema

Adema

Nu-metal miserably continues on and on, a seemingly endless line of nu-bands, nu-festivals and nu-videos assaulting us every time we turn around. I doubt that many metalheads are really tuning in, though. All I hear on Adema's debut is melodic, straight-ahead angst core that greatly reminds me of many other albums being released right now. I don't know who is into this sort of thing, as anyone into metal seems to laugh it off, but if you're out there, you could do worse than Adema, as they possess the basic ability to put together a rock song in today's hip style, even making some catchy songs in the process. But the thing drips of trendiness, awkwardly so, and I would wholeheartedly recommend spending your hard-earned money elsewhere.
