AAIMON

"Dissolvte"

BY Alex HudsonPublished Nov 28, 2013

Witchy San Diego duo AAIMON recently unveiled a single in advance of their self-titled album, and now they've shared another LP cut in the form of the difficult-to-pronounce "Dissolvte."

The song in anchored by brisk electronic beats and horror movie keyboard tinkles, which are overlaid with jagged electronic noise and haunting vocals. The lyrics are appropriately gloomy, and they're peppered with references to "razor blades," "desperation" and "agony."

AAIMON is out on December 3 via Artoffact Records, with the iTunes release to follow on December 10. A multi-format package including a double-disc CD, expanded cassette and merch items is available here.
