Known for working across a multitude of genres in her work, Ariane Moffatt's main stage Supercrawl set primarily catered to her electronic influences. She and her three bandmates, all dressed in black, explored the darker side of synth pop, bringing the compositions to life through trigger pads for electronic drums and samples, Moffatt's own keyboard and a keybass run through a myriad of pedals. Enthusiastic performances of "Je Veux Tout" and "L'Homme dans l'Automobile" saw her French language lyrics supported with harmonies from Laurence Lafond-Beaulne of Milk & Bone.
Moffatt and her crew also took some time to shine a light on a few of their other influences in the set's latter half. One of her own compositions briefly made use of the synth melody and drum pattern from Kanye West's "Send it Up" played on the keybass and trigger pads, followed by the group putting a sleek dark-wave twist on Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight," complete with Moffatt hopping behind an acoustic drum kit to play the song's iconic fill.
