With the Golden Globes out of the way as of this past weekend, film buffs have turned their attention (and attempts at psychic abilities) to the 87th Academy Awards.

Though the event isn't scheduled to take place until February 22, the full list of Oscar nominees was revealed this morning (January 15).

In spite of the fairly predictable acting categories, there are a couple of surprising names that pop up in the musical categories.

Golden Globe winners John Legend and Common are up for Best Original Song for their Selma contribution "Glory," and are joined by Tegan and Sara and the Lonely Island for The Lego Movie's "Everything Is Awesome" and Glen Campbell's "I'm Not Gonna Miss You" from Glen Campbell… I'll Be Me. Rounding out the category are Adam Levine for Begin Again track "Lost Stars" and Rita Ora's Beyond the Lights tune "Grateful."

As for Best Original Score, Alexandre Desplat is up for his work on both The Grand Budapest Hotel and The Imitation Game, while Hans Zimmer (Interstellar), Gary Yershon (Mr. Turner) and Jóhann Jóhannsson (The Theory of Everything) are also nominated.
