It's been quite some time since Will Ferrell made an actual funny comedy. Hopefully that will change with The House, a movie that's so dumb it just might work.
Ferrell stars alongside Amy Poehler as a pair of financially irresponsible parents who need fast cash when their daughter is accepted into college. Enter Jason Mantzoukas, who convinces them to turn their home into an illegal casino.
With a supporting cast that includes Alison Tolman, Sam Richardson, Rob Huebel, Michaela Watkins, Nick Kroll and many, many others, it's hard to argue that this film won't deliver some laughs.
