The mysterious disappearance of University of British Columbia student Elisa Lam in 2013 is getting its own Netflix documentary series, Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel. The streamer announced plans for the show earlier this month, and now we have the first trailer.

The four-part first season comes from executive producer and director Joe Berlinger, who did The Ted Bundy Tapes and Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, among tons of other docs.

In Crime Scene, Berlinger aims to examine the incredibly strange circumstances surrounding Lam's disappearance at the Cecil Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. As previously reported, the series will also dive into the history of the Cecil Hotel itself and its notorious reputation.

"From housing serial killers to untimely deaths, the Cecil Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles is known to many as L.A.'s deadliest hotel. The latest chapter in the Cecil's dark history involves the mysterious disappearance of college student Elisa Lam," reads a synopsis.

Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel arrives on Netflix on February 10.
