The long-awaited documentary on Canadian hard rock trio Triumph has received a premiere date — and a first trailer, which you can view below.

The Banger Films-produced Triumph: Rock & Roll Machine will make its world premiere September 10 at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

Directed by Sam Dunn and Marc Ricciardelli, the film is said to be "a celebratory, exhilarating thrill ride through the history of one of rock's most unsung acts."

The trailer reveals interviews with Skid Row's Sebastian Bach and the Trailer Park Boys, in addition to Triumph vocalist/guitarist Rik Emmett, bassist/keyboardist Mike Levine and drummer/vocalist Gil Moore.

Earlier this year, Triumph were named ambassadors of Record Store Day Canada for 2021, treating 1981's Allied Forces to a box set reissue as part of the vinyl celebration.

Banger Films have previously produced feature documentaries on Alice Cooper, ZZ Top, and more — in addition to another well-known Canadian trio.
