Nearly two years on from learning of Simu Liu's entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the first trailer for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has arrived.
The two-minute tease of Destin Daniel Cretton's film arrives on Liu's birthday. Along with the trailer surprise, the Kim's Convenience star shared an official look at himself in costume on the film's poster, and firmed up the film's September 3 theatrical release date.
Along with Liu, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings stars Awkwafina, Tony Leung, Fala Chen, Meng'er Zhang, Florian Munteanu, Ronny Chieng and Michelle Yeoh.
This past February, MCU viewers got a look at Liu as Shang-Chi thanks to a leaked Lego set.
