The Eric Andre Show returned with its fifth season last month, and now that we've finally seen the Grimes episode, let's talk about how hilariously messed up it is.
Starring alongside LeVar Burton, A$AP Ferg, Felipe Esparza, James Hazley and Eric Andre himself, Grimes was featured in Episode 5 during her own segment titled "Grimes and Punishment," where she undergoes various forms of torture.
Her involvement in the show took place after a chance meeting between the two zany minds, where Grimes essentially dared Andre to torture her on the show. Little did he know at the time, Grimes was secretly pregnant during the shoot.
"So we did a bit where she's tied to like a medieval torture rack and she's being like stretched and we're like burning her feet and all this shit," Andre recounted in a recent interview with Complex.
"She was totally down," he added. "And then later I found out she was pregnant and hadn't announced it yet! I was like, 'You just talked me into torturing a pregnant woman!' And she was like, 'Yeah, but it was fucking awesome!'"
It's pretty clear from watching the clip that Grimes wasn't really harmed on the set, but it is still kind of disturbing to watch. Check it out below if you want.
