Billie Eilish was announced as a special performer at the Oscars, and it turns out she was booked to perform during the "In Memoriam" portion of the evening.Joined by her brother and producer Finneas on piano, Eilish sang a cover of the Beatles' "Yesterday," as a montage was played above, featuring actors, producers and other film industry folks who passed away in the last year.
Amongst those honoured in the montage were Kobe Bryant, Peter Mayhew, John Singleton and Kirk Douglas.
