Trevor Moore of comedy sketch troupe the Whitest Kids U' Know died on August 6, and now, Los Angeles County's medical examiner-coroner has confirmed his cause of death was accidental.

According to the coroner's report, Moore died of blunt force head trauma after falling from a second-storey balcony at his home in LA. TMZ reports that Moore's blood-alcohol level was well over the legal limit at the time of the accident, though the coroner's examination notes no "other significant conditions" contributing to Moore's cause of death.

Moore's wife, Aimee Carlson, confirmed his death at the age of 41 on August 9 in a statement via Moore's manager.

"We are devastated by the loss of my husband, best friend and the father of our son," Carlson wrote at the time. "He was known as a writer and comedian to millions, and yet to us he was simply the center of our whole world. We don't know how we'll go on without him, but we're thankful for the memories we do have that will stay with us forever."

Moore co-founded the Whitest Kids U' Know while attending New York's School of Visual Arts in 1999. The group eventually got their own series, which ran for five seasons on IFC from 2007 to 2011.
