If you're a fan of the all-encompassing "genre" film category, you're in luck as the Toronto After Dark film festival has pieced together a truly impressive batch of films for its 11th edition.
The fest, which runs from October 13 to 21 at the Scotiabank Theatre, has just unveiled its first ten films, and there's plenty to love for fans of sci-fi, horror, action and cult films.
There are plenty of Exclaim! favourites playing the fest, including Under the Shadow, Antibirth and the Polish Mermaid horror musical The Lure.
The fest also marks the Canadian premiere of The Void, the latest outing from genre-loving film collective Astron-6.
Other films playing the fest include In a Valley of Violence, As the Gods Will, The Rezort, Creepy, Kill Command and Trash Fire.
