Pro golfer Tiger Woods has been admitted to the hospital after local emergency responders had to rescue him from a car crash using the jaws of life.

Woods' vehicle was the only one involved in the rollover crash, according to a release from the L.A. County Sheriff's Office. So far, the extent of Woods' injuries have not been made clear.

UPDATE (2/23, 3:56 p.m. ET): Woods is currently in surgery after suffering multiple injuries to his legs. His car is reported to have sustained major damage as well.

"On February 23, 2021, at approximately 7:12 AM, LASD responded to a single-vehicle roll-over traffic collision on the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes," local officials said.

Police do not believe alcohol played a factor in the accident.

Woods was reportedly in the area for his annual Genesis Invitational golf tournament at the Riviera Country Club in the Pacific Palisades.

The incident is currently under investigation.
