If the reports are true, David Lynch made himself very busy by directing all 18 episodes of the forthcoming new season of Twin Peaks. He's not the only one putting in work, however. The show's co-creator Mark Frost has written a new novel, due for release this year.
The 368-page book is called The Secret History of Twin Peaks, and a write-up describes it as a "vastly layered, wide-ranging history" of the show's mystical characters and setting.
Due for release on October 18 via Flatiron Books, the novel should get fans up to speed on Twin Peaks and its characters before the 2017 premiere of Season 3.
