The Release Date for 'A Quiet Place Part II' Has Moved Yet Again

One of the less pressing but omnipresent factors throughout the coronavirus pandemic has been the endless shuffling and reshuffling of blockbuster movie release dates. In addition to the next Bond film, we're learning of new release dates for A Quiet Place Part II on a constant basis.

The sequel to John Krasinski's runaway thriller has probably had half a dozen release dates at this point. It had initially been slated for release last March before, you know, everything went down. It was moved around throughout 2020, postponed until this year and has already seen 2021 release dates in both April and September.

Now, according to the director himself, the film will come out on May 28, which is Memorial Day in the United States. He announced as much in a tweet:
 

Of course, none of us will be surprised if they move this one around a few more times. That said, A Quiet Place Part III is already in the works from director Jeff Nichols, who previously helmed LovingMudTake Shelter and many others. They say that one is expected for 2022 but, y'know....
