Ahead of Game of Thrones kicking off its final season on HBO this weekend, a companion album of original music inspired by the show has been announced. Titled For the Throne, the collection will arrive through Columbia Records on April 26.
While a tracklist for the effort has yet to be revealed, a teaser trailer points to the involvement of the National, A$AP Rocky, the Weeknd, Lil Peep, Maren Morris, Joey Bada$$, Muse's Matthew Bellamy, SZA, Ty Dolla $ign and more.
Of course, HBO released a pair of Catch the Throne mixtapes in 2014 and 2015, respectively. The first volume featured Big Boi, Common, Daddy Yankee and more, while the second volume featured Method Man, Snoop Dogg and more.
