We're just over a week away from the release of David Chase and Alan Taylor's Sopranos prequel, The Many Saints of Newark, and to get you even more hyped, the team behind the revival has shared a behind-the-scenes featurette, introducing a brand new cast playing the younger versions of the classic HBO characters.

"Meet the Cast: Old but New" dives deep into the elaborate casting of Many Saints, and finds Chase and Taylor joining the cast in "discussing the beloved icons and new faces."

The short has John Magaro on playing Silvio, Vera Farmiga on stepping into the role of Livia (originally played by the late Nancy Marchand), Corey Stoll on playing Junior, snippets of Billy Magnussen's Paulie, Samson Moeakiola's Pussy, and of course, Michael Gandolfini on playing his late father James Gandolfini's iconic role, Tony Soprano.

The film also stars Jon Bernthal, Alessandro Nivola, and Leslie Odom Jr.

Refresh your memory of the upcoming revival with the following synopsis:

Young Anthony Soprano is growing up in one of the most tumultuous eras in Newark's history, becoming a man just as rival gangsters begin to rise up and challenge the all-powerful DiMeo crime family's hold over the increasingly race-torn city.

Caught up in the changing times is the uncle he idolizes, Dickie Moltisanti, who struggles to manage both his professional and personal responsibilities — and whose influence over his impressionable nephew will help make the teenager into the all-powerful mob boss we'll later come to know: Tony Soprano.

The Many Saints of Newark is due to arrive on October 1.
