The First Two 'Tony Hawk's Pro Skater' Games Are Getting Remastered in 4k

Don't worry, the original soundtrack will remain in tact

For an entire generation of people, the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games were a perfect introduction to the worlds of video games, skateboarding and underground music. While skateboarding games have existed since, few if any have managed to capture the magic of the original outings. Fortunately, the first and second editions of the game are coming back in a 4K remaster this fall.

Bundled together as Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, the new versions of the games promise to maintain the same energy as the originals, albeit with sleek new graphics and expanded modes (including a robust online mode).

Most importantly, the original soundtracks remain in tact so you can still listen to Papa Roach and Goldfinger while you grind some power lines.

The remastered Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 will arrive on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on September 4. Until then, watch a trailer below.
