The Cure turned 40 last year and marked the occasion with a huge concert in London's Hyde Park. The show was professionally filmed, and now the final cut is coming to theatres around the world this summer.

Dubbed Anniversary 1978-2018: Live in Hyde Park London, the concert film was directed by Tim Pope, who previously helmed iconic videos for the band like "Friday I'm in Love," "Pictures of You" and "Lovesong."

It features the Cure's sprawling 135-minute, 29-song, Disintegration-heavy set from July 8, 2018.

Film screenings will take place around the world on July 11 for one night only. Exact locations have yet to be revealed, but tickets for the special cinematic event go on sale June 6, and you can follow updates over here.

Before that, the band will livestream a 30th anniversary Disintegration live show tomorrow night (May 30) from the Sydney Opera House at 8 p.m. local time; with the time difference, the concert will be streaming at 6 a.m. EDT.

The Cure were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year, but don't seem to be slowing down any time soon — they've also hinted that a new album is on the way.
