Everyone loved Breaking Bad, so of course it has to be spun off as much as possible. In addition to Better Call Saul, boss man Vince Gilligan reportedly directed a new film in secret. While nothing's been confirmed as of yet, more alleged details have dropped.

The Hollywood Reporter spoke with sources close to the project who seemingly confirmed a number of details. For starters, Gilligan will not be treating the film like a prequel or a bottle episode or with some other newfangled prestige TV framing device. Instead, it will be a straight-up sequel.

Further, the film will reportedly follow Aaron Paul's Jesse Pinkman character. It's unclear whether or not Bryan Cranston will reprise his role as Walter White, but it's hard to imagine him not making a significant appearance.

Finally, sources said that the film will first debut on Netflix before airing on AMC. Reps from Netflix, AMC and Sony Pictures TV declined to comment on the matter.

Stay tuned for more details on the Breaking Bad movie if and when they become available.
