The long-awaited A Quiet Place Part II was delayed multiple times and now sits at a release date of April 23, 2021. Whether or not it gets bumped again is yet to be seen, but we've got some exciting news in the form of another sequel.

Director John Krasinski once again thought up the premise for A Quiet Place Part III, but he's handing over directing duties to Jeff Nichols, who has had an impressive track record with the likes of LovingMudTake Shelter and many more notable releases.

According to Deadline, the film's producers have a 2022 release in mind. While details are scarce, industry insiders expect this to be more of a world-building spinoff rather than a straight sequel.
