If you thought coronavirus self-isolation was going to be a great thing for Netflix, think again. The streaming giant has just suspended production on Stranger Things Season 4.

In fact, all Netflix's scripted TV and films in the U.S. and Canada will be put on hold for the next two weeks starting on Monday (March 16), Deadline reports. This includes Stranger Things Season 4.

The shutdown comes as a precaution during the COVID-19 outbreak, as well as to be in compliance with bans on large gatherings, travel and various other restrictions.

In addition to Stranger Things, Netflix has suspended production on Sex/Life starring Sarah Shahi. However, there has so far been no firm word on the state of The Witcher, which is in production outside North America.
