From a freaky Cats viewing, to freaking out Bryan Cranston, Seth Rogen has been known to share stories of his high times with the world, and his latest involves him smoking "a ton of weed" before attending Adele's CBS concert special earlier this year.

Appearing on The Tonight Show Wednesday (December 1), Rogen shared that he and his wife, Lauren Miller, had been invited to "a small Adele concert," entirely unaware that the event would be recorded for TV.

"We were like, it's an Adele concert, it's in the park," he explained. "We smoked a ton of weed and were like, we're just gonna go and enjoy this lovely Adele concert."

Seasoned stoners will surely identify with what Rogen felt next. "We pull up and we see cranes and camera cranes, there's drones flying around," he recalled. "There's an entire crew there and I'm like, 'Oh no. We are at the filming of a television special I think.'"

Adele One Night Only was shot at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles on October 24, ahead of airing on CBS November 14. Rogen shared that he initially thought, "maybe it's not that big of a television special," but clearly didn't take stock of the hype behind the revered vocalist's return with new album 30.

"The first person I see is Oprah Winfrey," he said. "Then me and my wife were like, maybe we can just slink into the background, like we'll just sit in the back, it's fine. We're not equipped mentally to deal with doing this right now. So we go up to the desk and they give us our tickets, and our seat numbers literally are 1A and 1B."

Rogen joked about the "many more famous people" he and Miller were ahead of in their sweet seats, sharing that he was placed in front of Drake, Ellen DeGeneres and Kris Jenner.

"I have no idea why they did that," Rogen said. "It was truly wild… The whole time I was like, 'Just try to look cool.' It was hard for me to look cool 'cause I'm uncomfortable, I'm too close. I feel Leonardo DiCaprio behind me, like, 'Did Seth Rogen write 'Rolling in the Deep?' Is that why he's so close?'"

Ultimately, Rogen enjoyed the performance in spite of his state, calling it "the most popular thing I've ever been in in my entire life." Fallon even put together a tiny highlight pack of Rogen and Miller in the front row, with the latter looking suitably blissed out.

"There's people who I know have not watched my last five movies who have been texting me being like, 'You were amazing. That Adele concert looked incredible,'" he joked.

Rogen recently appeared in the trailer for Pam & Tommy, and has been linked to a penis-shaped slide in his home province of British Columbia.
