A24 has shared the first official trailer for X, the Ti West-directed horror film that stars Kid Cudi, Mia Goth and Brittany Snow as wannabe porn stars who shack up in a creepy southern ranch/makeshift porno set that (spoiler!) houses some dark and unsettling secrets.
The trailer is all grainy '0s pastiche, complete with blue eyeshadow and a dusty old van ala The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. It also features the obligatory eerie old man, who owns the ranch house in question and warns the actors "My wife is not well. It happens after dark."
A montage of screaming and slashing and witchy old women follows. Martin Henderson, Jenna Ortega, Owen Campbell and Stephen Ure also star. It looks like it'll probably be a fun, pulpy bit of film, and it arrives March 18.
Cudi's been all over the silver screen lately, appearing in Don't Look Up, the third Bill & Ted and last year's A Man Named Scott documentary.
