'RuPaul's Drag Race' Is Heading to the U.K. for a New Season

Having crowned 10 of America's Next Drag Superstars, plus soon-to-be-four All Star queens and a Christmas queen, RuPaul is crossing the pond to find the next stars of RuPaul's Drag Race. Yes, the wildly popular reality show is getting remade in the U.K.

BBC Three has ordered an eight-episode series of the World of Wonder show, which will follow a similar structure to the American original. Drag queens will compete in various challenges, knocking each other out of the race one-by-one by when it comes time to "lipsync for your life."

RuPaul will host the British edition of the show as well, though the remaining judges have not yet been announced.

"It is a dream come true to extend our royal family to the United Kingdom with our partners at BBC Three," RuPaul said in a statement. "I am beyond excited to celebrate the massive charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent of the Queen's queens. And before anyone asks, yes, we would be thrilled to have Meghan Markle join us, as we are already preparing a 'Royal-Mother-To-Be' runway challenge."

We can only assume there will be some queens with British accents to rival those of Max and Yara Sofia.
