Long-awaited new music from Rihanna will arrive this week with a new song from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.

Today, the wealthiest woman in music confirmed that her contribution to the Ryan Coogler-directed film, a new song titled "Lift Me Up," will arrive on Friday (October 28). You can hear an all-too-brief tease of the track below.

Rihanna's confirmation follows a prior tease of her involvement with the highly-anticipated film shared yesterday (October 25) by Marvel Studios' official Twitter account, in which the stylized 'R' of Wakanda Forever's wordmark is highlighted to hint at her return.

In September, it was announced that Rihanna would headline the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show. Her most recent album is ANTI, which Exclaim! named among the Best Albums of 2016.
