Ricky Gervais has had most of his success in the realm of television, but every once in a while he squeaks out a new movie, too. He'll do just that this spring, when he delivers a new film called Special Correspondents.
The movie is a remake of a French film of the same name, and follows the story of a radio journalist who fakes war reports from a restaurant in Queens, New York.
The adaptation was written and directed by Gervais, who will also star alongside Eric Bana, Vera Farmiga, Kelly Macdonald, Kevin Pollak and America Ferrera.
Special Correspondents will arrive on April 29 exclusively through Netflix. Only time will tell if it's one of the streaming service's prestigious releases (like Beasts of No Nation) or if it's another one of their shittier offerings (like The Ridiculous 6).
