The cult British comedy series Peep Show may have come to an end, but its stars have found plenty to keep them busy. Super Hans, for one, has launched a career as a real-life DJ. Now, stars David Mitchell and Robert Webb have announced their next project.

The pair will reunite for a series called Back, and they're not the only comedy greats involved. The show was written by Simon Blackwell, who not only wrote for Peep Show but also scripted Veep and In the Loop.

Back follows a dysfunctional family who run a pub together. In addition to Mitchell and Webb, the show features Julia Deakin (SpacedI'm Alan Partridge) and Louise Brealey (Sherlock).

The series doesn't have a North American release planned just yet, but it will arrive via Channel 4 in the UK.

Speaking with the Guardian, Channel 4's head of comedy Phil Clarke said, "To have Mitchell and Webb and Simon Blackwell working together is a very exciting prospect. It's a unique configuration of some seriously big comedy minds. Simon has written a very funny and clever script with a strong emotional heart that takes Robert Webb and David Mitchell in a new and genuinely intriguing direction."

Stay tuned for more information on Back as it becomes available.
