We're currently living in the golden age of Nicolas Cage, but the actor isn't content to only look forward — in a recent Reddit AMA, Cage shared that he'd be down to make a sequel to 1997's Face/Off, the mug-swapping action thriller that he starred in opposite John Travolta

When asked by a fan if he'd be willing to do Face/Off 2, Cage simply responded "Yes." Later down the thread, he also revealed that Face/Off is his "favourite action movie," which he attributes to having John Woo at the helm. He then explained his process for the film, writing that it "was a matter of getting video of Travolta's dailies and trying to study it so I could copy his voice and movements. John Travolta conversely did the same with my dailies."

Elsewhere in the AMA, Cage also revealed that the three movies of his he'd save for posterity are Bringing Out the Dead, Pig and Leaving Las Vegas, that he'd like to work with Christopher Nolan, Spike Lee, Ari Aster and Robert Eggers, and that he and Charlie Sheen once went to the same restaurant two nights in a row for their square-shaped tube pasta.

Cage's most recent film is Tom Gormican's perfectly-scored The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent
