Aside from being the name of a Christian posi hardcore band, Stretch Armstrong was a wildly popular '90s toy. Now, the blonde muscle man will finally return in his very own Netflix kids show.

According to Variety, Netflix has ordered 26 episodes of Stretch Armstrong from Hasbro Studios. The animated show will follow Jake Armstrong and his two best friends who, after being exposed to a weird chemical, turn into Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters.

An adaptation of Stretch Armstrong has been a longtime coming. Universal had been considering a movie produced by Brian Grazer, and Relativity Media was planning a live-action Armstrong movie in 2013 that they ultimately shelved.

Stretch Armstrong will reach its way to Netflix in 2017.
