NBC Might Make More Episodes of 'The Office'

The network is also open to the possibility for more '30 Rock'

It's been a little while since NBC have had a good old-fashioned hit on their hands, so understandably they're looking to the past to recreate past glory. For fans of the hijinks at Dunder-Mifflin, that could be a good thing — the network seems to be aggressively pursuing more episode of The Office.

In an interview with Deadline, NBC Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt said he's been pursuing more episodes of the mockumentary for quite some time.

"We often talk about The Office, I've talked to Greg four times over the past few years. It's always, 'maybe some day but not now,'" Greenblatt said. "There is certainly an open invitation but we don't have anything happening right now. If he wants to do it, I would do it."

That's not the only comedy he's interested in rebooting. He's also talked to Tina Fey about resurrecting 30 Rock. "I'd say to Tina 'Hey, you think some more 30 Rock makes any sense?' She'd say, I don't know maybe.'"

Greenblatt added, "if Tina called and said 'I'd do 30 Rock,' I'd do it in a heartbeat, even for a limited run. The same about The Office."
