Michael B. Jordan is, without question, an enormous movie star with plenty of venerable credits under his belt — including, possibly, an upcoming Superman movie. One franchise he missed out on, however, was J.J. Abrams' series of Star Wars reboots.
In a new interview with Variety, Jordan admitted that he absolutely blew it when auditioning for The Force Awakens. In fact, he said he "definitely bombed" the audition.
"I think it was I couldn't wrap my brain around some of the sides because you know when you're reading for these high-level projects, there's never really any specificity in the sides," he said. "Everything's like super vague; everything is in secret. Reading through, I just couldn't connect it. I definitely bombed that one for sure."
Of course, Jordan's career is doing just fine. His latest film is the Tom Clancy adaptation Without Remorse.
