Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo are all set to bring the Midwestern cheese with their new comedy Barb & Star Go to Vista Del Mar, which is set to hit VOD platforms on February 12. Before its release in just a matter of weeks, the film's official trailer is finally here.

The comedy pair who brought us Bridesmaids has returned 10 years later, with Wiig and Mumolo stepping into their roles as co-stars and co-writers again in this year's colourful buddy comedy. The film sees the actors as the titular Barb and Star in a film that promises "romance, friendship and a villain's evil plot."

Here's an official synopsis:

Lifelong friends Barb (Mumolo) and Star (Wiig) embark on the adventure of a lifetime when they decide to leave their small Midwestern town for the first time…ever.

The film also stars Jamie Dornan, Damon Wayans Jr., Fortune Feimster, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Rose Abdoo, Vanessa Bayer, Phyllis Smith and Kwame Patterson, with the production team helmed by Gloria Sanchez Productions, Wiig, Mumolo, Jessica Elbaum and Margot Hand.
