Kirstie Alley and the U.S. Men's Curling Team Have Beef on Twitter
Published Feb 20, 2018The 2018 Olympic Winter Games are a constant talking point as they unfold in PyeongChang, South Korea, and they're getting mixed reviews. Look who's talking — it's Kirstie Alley, with her own two cents on the sport of curling.
Although it's every dad's favourite sport, the love of the game is apparently not universal. After all, Alley does not think curling rocks.
She took to Twitter to voice her opinion about the game:
Im not trying to be mean but...... Curling is boring— Kirstie Alley (@kirstiealley) February 20, 2018
Despite her insistence that she wasn't trying to be mean, she still apparently hurt the feelings of the U.S. men's curling team, who could neither brush off the insult nor sweep it away:
Matt Hamilton joked that she was "entitled to her wrong opinion," winning some cry-laughing emojis from Alley:
Fortunately, what could have escalated into an enormous, full-blown brawl instead ended with Alley promising to give curling another chance:
Ok I'm gonna give it another chance! My son loves watching Curling! He doesn't love figure skating which I do so we can make each other give 2nd chances today!! ❤️❤️ https://t.co/lFJkFF9ioP— Kirstie Alley (@kirstiealley) February 20, 2018
