King Crimson's Anniversary Documentary Treated to Canadian Screenings

'In the Court of the Crimson King: King Crimson at 50' will play for one night only in nine cities

Following its premiere earlier this year as part of SXSW 2022, King Crimson's anniversary documentary, In the Court of the Crimson King: King Crimson at 50, has been treated to a slate of special screenings in Canada.

On October 19, levelFILM will bring the Toby Amies-directed feature to nine Cineplex theatres across the country.

Locations include Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Guelph, Toronto, Vancouver and London. You can find the complete list of participating Canadian theatres below alongside the film's trailer.

King Crimson founder Robert Fripp visited Canada last month on a North American speaking tourIn the Court of the Crimson King — the band's 1969 debut from which the documentary takes its title — turned 53 yesterday (October 10).
