Kiefer Sutherland Cancels European Concerts After Being "Seriously Injured"

Kiefer Sutherland may be best known for playing the tough-as-nails Jack Bauer on 24, but in real life he's been temporarily thwarted by an unlucky injury.

He's had to cancel a string of European concerts due to getting "seriously injured" after slipping on the steps of his tour bus. The slip left him with an injured rib, making it difficult for him to breathe and even more difficult to sing.

He seems to be in good spirits, though, as he shared a gif of a cat falling down stairs on Twitter, promising to "be more careful walking down stairs on a moving bus."

Sutherland will no longer make his Denmark and Sweden dates, but vowed to make up the shows in September and October when he returns to Europe.

He was on tour to support his latest album Reckless & Me. It marks the follow-up to his 2016 debut Down a Hole, which saw the actor switch his focus to a career in music.
