After learning that Andrew W.K. and Kat Dennings made their romance Instagram official last week, the couple have revealed that they're now planning to take their relationship to the next level by tying the knot.
Dennings and Wilkes-Krier announced their engagement earlier today with a couple of shots of the bride-to-be's massive new diamond ring. Since going public with their engagement today, the couple have been sending lovey-dovey emojis back and forth on the social platform, making it clear they're both head-over-heels for each other.
Up until last week, it was unclear if Andrew W.K. was still married to his ex, Cherie Lily. Then, in tandem with news of his partnership with Dennings, Wilkes-Krier also revealed that he and Lily had begun divorce proceedings. As per a press release: "Andrew W.K. has recently begun dating actor Kat Dennings. The two met earlier this year in Los Angeles. Andrew W.K. and his ex-wife, Cherie Lily, began amicable divorce proceedings in late 2019."
The news of their entanglement came alongside Andrew W.K.'s plans for a brand new album titled God Is Partying. That is due to arrive on September 10 through his new label home, Napalm Records. So far, the party rocker has dropped "I'm in Heaven" and "Babalon" from the record.
