We recently saw the first trailer for City of Lies, a new Johnny Depp movie that reopens the mysterious case of Notorious B.I.G.'s death. The movie looks like it's full of tension onscreen, but it sounds like there was plenty of action on the set as well.

According to the NY Daily News, location manager Gregg (Rocky) Brooks is suing Depp for assault and battery, infliction of emotional distress and negligence, among other things.

The suit alleges that Depp physically and verbally assaulted Brooks onset before offering him $100,000 to punch him in the face.

Brooks reportedly said a shot the group was working on had to be the last of the day because their permit expired. At that point, Depp reportedly said, "Who the fuck are you? You have no right to tell me what to do. I don't give a fuck who you are and you can't tell me what to do!"

From there, he allegedly "maliciously and forcefully" punched Brooks twice in the ribcage before saying, "I will give you $100,000 to punch me in the face right now." Depp was then carried away by bodyguards.

City of Lies is set to arrive in September.
