Netflix. Anthology series. Mumblecore. These zeitgeisty terms have all finally rolled together into one project thanks to a new deal with busy indie director Joe Swanberg.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the man behind films like Drinking Buddies and Hannah Takes the Stairs will head up a new series called Easy.
The show will consist of eight half-hour episodes, all of which will feature standalone stories.
Easy will feature appearances from a star-studded cast that includes Orlando Bloom, Malin Ackerman, Michael Chernus, Marc Maron, Elizabeth Reaser, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Jake Johnson, Aya Cash, Dave Franco, Jane Adams, Hannibal Burress and others.
