Before Paterson, veteran filmmaker Jim Jarmusch added a respected entry into the vampire canon with his film Only Lovers Left Alive. It looks as though he's set to return to genre filmmaking, as he's reportedly working on a star-studded zombie comedy.

The director was spotted in Upstate New York, where he's been filming scenes with Adam Driver, Bill Murray, Selena Gomez, Chloë Sevigny and Austin Butler. Some set photos are embedded below.

Further, Bill Murray hinted at the movie earlier this year. Speaking with Philly.com, he said, "I've got a good job coming up. Brace yourself: It's a zombie movie. Jim Jarmusch has written a zombie script that's so hilarious and it has a cast of great actors: Rosie Perez, Daniel Craig. It's titled The Dead Don't Die, and it shoots over the summer. But, no, I will not play a zombie."

Things have changed slightly since then. Not only were Rosie Perez and Daniel Craig nowhere to be found on set, but the film's working title has shifted to Kill the Head.

Stay tuned for more information on Jarmusch's new zombie film as it becomes available.
