Jamie Lee Curtis and David Gordon Green are hosting a watch party of the 2018 reboot of Halloween this weekend.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has announced plans to host the interactive party on Twitter this Saturday (May 16). Green — joined by Curtis, John Carpenter, Jason Blum, Judy Greer, James Jude Courtney and Nick Castle — will be watching the 11th instalment of the franchise and providing live commentary.

Starting at 4 p.m. ET, participants are encouraged to hit play on their copy of the film and join the event by tweeting with the hashtag #HalloweenAtHome. Green and Curtis will stay online after the viewing of the film — which should end around 5:45 p.m. ET — for a questions period with fans.

The event precedes the release of the franchise's forthcoming instalment, Halloween Kills. The new film is expected to arrive this year on October 16.
