The cast of House of Cards is getting a major overhaul in the wake of Kevin Spacey's departure from the show. The Netflix original has now revealed that Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear will join the cast for the show's final season.

Little is known about their specific roles, though Variety reports that they will play siblings in the upcoming episodes.

They join returning cast members Robyn Wright, Michael Kelly, Jayne Atkinson, Patricia Clarkson, Constance Zimmer, Derek Cecil, Campbell Scott and Boris McGiver. The upcoming storylines will reportedly focus on Wright's character, who will assume Spacey's former starring role.

Netflix has also announced that production has finally resumed on the sixth season of House of Cards, after going on hiatus back in October when sexual misconduct allegations against Spacey first emerged.

As previously reported, the sixth and final season will be shorter than previous ones, clocking in at just eight episodes. A release date has yet to be announced.
