Nearly 25 years since the death of Blind Melon's Shannon Hoon, the frontman's massive archive of personal footage has been turned into a documentary titled All I Can Say. That film is at last scheduled to be released this Friday (June 26) via Oscilloscope Laboratories, and now, you can watch the official new trailer.
Sporting meticulous documentation from the singer himself — recorded on his personal Hi8 video camera from the band's inception in 1990 to 1995 — the film acts as an intimate autobiography up until mere hours before Hoon's death at age 28 from an accidental overdose.
With director's credits being owed to Hoon himself for his unwavering commitment to filming his own life, Oscilloscope Laboratories' Danny Clinch, Taryn Gould and Colleen Hennessy offer additional direction on the film.
Blind Melon band members Christopher Thorn, Brad Smith, Rogers Stevens and Glen Graham are also featured in the film, alongside Hoon's girlfriend Lisa Sinha and their child.
