Last month we got a first look at how Kevin Smith's Netflix series Masters of the Universe: Revelation was shaping up, and now we've got an extremely amped-up new trailer to get you excited ahead of its debut next month.

The CG-animated reboot of the classic fantasy franchise based on the Mattel toys arrives on the streamer on July 23 — and today, we're one step closer to that reality with a teaser aptly soundtracked by Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out for a Hero."

The forthcoming series is said to follow "the classic battle between He-Man and evil Skeletor," which "rages to new heights as both hero and villain forge new and mighty teams."

As previously reported, the new series will find Mark Hamill voicing Skeletor, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela, Chris Wood as Prince Adam / He-Man, and Lena Headey as Evil-Lyn.

Other voices are provided by Liam Cunningham, Stephen Root, Diedrich Bader, Henry Rollins, Alicia Silverstone, Justin Long, Jason Mewes, Phil LaMarr, Tony Todd, Cree Summer, Kevin Michael Richardson, Kevin Conroy and Smith's daughter, Harley Quinn Smith.

"A big reason we got such top-tier voice talent is because people genuinely want to be a part of this world," Smith previously said of the all-star cast. "So many of us were touched by these stories and these characters early in our lives and were so happy to come back to Eternia."

In addition to the series' premiere on July 23, Netflix has also announced the arrival of a 25-minute special, Revelations: The Masters of the Universe Revelation Aftershow, which will launch in tandem with the new series. Smith will host the one-off alongside Tiffany Smith and Mattel Television exec Rob David. Several voice actors from the series will also join.
