Here's the First Major List of Films Playing TIFF 2019

The Toronto International Film Festival has made its first major announcement, delivering an enormous batch of films that are set to play the fest when it runs from September 5 to September 15.

A number of highly anticipated features are set to play the fest, including Lorene Scafaria's Hustlers (starring Constance Wu, Jennifer Lopez and Cardi B), Todd PhillipsJoker (starring Joaquin Phoenix), Taika Waititi's Jojo Rabbit (starring Scarlett Johansson) and the Safdie brothersGood Times follow-up Uncut Gems (starring Adam Sandler). 

As previously reported, the festival will open with a screening of the Robbie Robertson documentary Once Were Brothers
