Guy Ritchie's Hollywood career has been packed with strange ups and downs, most recently culminating with creating Will Smith's bizarre genie in the live-action Aladdin. Now, the director seems ready to return to form with an extremely British crime movie.
The Gentlemen has all of the Ritchie-isms that one might expect, including plenty of cockney slang, drams of whiskey and gun violence. There's also a stacked cast, including Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Henry Golding, Michelle Dockery, Jeremy Strong, Eddie Marsan, Colin Farrell and Hugh Grant.
